Thursday, June 7

DISCOVER NATURE — Discovery Day will be held for Clackmas Community College's newly restored Environmental Learning Center. The event will include a short program, dedication of the Giving Tree, a blessing from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and time to explore the trails. The community is invited to this Discovery Day from 1:30-3:30 p.m., on the Oregon City campus, 19600 Molalla Ave.

Saturday, June 9

FREE CONCERT — Wilsonville's I-5 Connection Chorus presents a free 3 p.m. concert of popular country western songs, including a medley from Oklahoma and others. The show is free but donations are welcome; the concert is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Wilsonville. Meridian United Church of Christ Church, 6750 Boeckman Road, Wilsonville.

BLUEGRASS MUSIC — French Prairie's acoustic venue, the historic Butteville Store, hosts a dinner/music event at 6 p.m., with a performance by bluegrass band Ash Creek. Go to

Sunday, June 10

SYMPHONY — Willamette Symphony will perform selections from Gershwin, Nancy Galbraith, Howard Hanson and Hovhaness June 10 at Oregon City United Methodist Church, 18955 S. End Road, Oregon City. The performance begins at 3 p.m. and a silent auction will be held as well. Tickets at the door only, $15 adult, senior/student $10.
