Boones Ale Fest returns
Mark your calendars! McMenamins is planning an Autumn Ale Fest at Wilsonville's Old Church Brewery Nov. 3. This event brings together local brewers of all backgrounds and skill levels to showcase their finest fall ales and ciders in a friendly competition known as the "War of the Oar." Attendees can sample competing craft ales and put their taste buds to the test to hand-select the winning brewer who only receives bragging rights but also an engraving on the famed Boone's Ferryman wood oar trophy. SMART conducting survey to prioritize projects
South Metro Area Regional Transit is seeking community input on how to prioritize future projects and is conducting an online survey at ridesmart.com/surveyTMPupdate. The survey ends June 30. Potential projects include extending weekend services, expanding fare-free services to include out-of-town routes and adding services to other communities.
Help refine Wilsonville wayfinding
The City of Wilsonville is holding an open house June 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to gather community feedback on initial design concepts that will inform the City's Signage and Wayfinding Plan. After a brief presentation about wayfinding, three design concepts are being presented for public review and comment at City Hall, 29799 S.W. Town Center Loop E. An online survey is collecting additional feedback from community members unable to attend. A survey link is being posted on the City's Facebook page and on the City's website at www.ci.wilsonville.or.us/signageandwayfinding after June 26.
