Early Wilsonville farm property has been purchased by nearby corporation, Syco.

SPOKESMAN PHOTOS: LESLIE PUGMIRE HOLE - The 33-acre farm located along Southwest Parkway to the south of Costco in Wilsonville has been sold to Sysco, the food distrubution company. The land will need to be rezoned from residential-agricultural-housing to planned development industrial. The land was owned by the Boettner family in the first half of the 20th century and was owned by Ralph Elligsen before the sale. According to past news reports, Elligsen wanted the area to be rezoned for commercial use but the City of Wilsonville did not support his attempt due to potential transportation issues and to preserve potential industrial land. A permit for demolition of the buildings on site has been issued.
