Kylee Dixon returned to protective custody of Oregon Department of Human Services

This story has been updated from its original version.

After receiving a tip Nevada police located missing Wilsonville Kylee Dixon with her mother Christina Gale Dixon in Las Vegas at 7:45 a.m. Thursday.

The girl was reported as absconded from state custody earlier this week and police speculated that Kylee -- who is under medical care -- was with her mother.

Currently Kylee is with Child Protective Services of Nevada, which is working with the Oregon Department of Human Services to determine when Kylee will return to Oregon.

When the Sheriff's Office investigation of Christina Dixon is complete, findings will be forwarded to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office for consideration of charges.

Any questions regarding Kylee's custodial case should be referred to the Oregon Department of Human Services PIO at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view
