Truck driver who rolled a semi on Advance Road ignored street signage, drove where comercial vehicles are not permitted

TUALATIN VALLEY FIRE AND RESCUE  - A semi trucked rolled over on Advance Road in the Stafford area Wednesday afternoon. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a semi truck crash at 2500 SW Advance Road Wednesday afternoon.

The semi rolled over in the Stafford area near SW Mountain Road. The driver was trapped until fire crews were able to create an opening for him to climb out of. He was then able to pull himself out of the truck. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other vehicles were invovled in the crash.

The driver, 56-year-old Johnnie Boxx admitted to ignoring the sign which said comercial vehicles were not allowed on that portion of the road a spokesperson from Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office learned Boxx had an outstanding warrant related to drug charges from Missouri. After he was cleared by the hospital, Boxx was booked in Clackamas County Jail on the charge.
