AG OPEN HOUSE — OSU's Northwest Research and Extension Center, located just south of Wilsonville, will hold an open house from 4-7 p.m. with information and activities provided by Master Gardeners and Future Famers of America. Take a wagon ride or try your hand at driving a tractor, learn about food preservation, and enjoy the tasty barbecue and berry pie available for purchase. NWREC is located at 15210 N.E. Miley Road, Aurora.

Thursday, Aug. 1

SUMMER CONCERT — Wilsonville Rotary's annual summer concert series features Jennifer Batten and Full Steam at Town Center Park, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Satuday, Aug. 3

FUN IN THE PARK — Wilsonville's favorite family-themed festival will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Town Center Park. All activities are free.

Monday, Aug. 5

CITY COUNCIL — Wilsonville City Council meets, beginning at 5 p.m. with a work session and a 7 p.m. regular meeting. The agenda can be found at The meeting will be held at City Hall, 29799 S.W. Town Center Loop.


MUSICAL — Clackamas Repertory Theatre will present the classic musical "South Pacific" Aug. 1-25 at Clackamas Community College's Osterman Theatre. To enhance the audience's experience, Clackamas Rep will provide a preshow lecture on World War II and U.S.-Japan relations one hour before each performance by Jackie Flowers, a U.S. history professor at CCC, and actor/director talkbacks following performances on Friday, Aug. 9, 16 and 23. FARM DINNER — Friends of Luscher Farms will hold an event with local wine and beer, dinner, dancing and an opportunity to tour the historic farm property Sept. 7. Twilight on the Farm will provide support for Friends of Luscher Farm, which promotes numerous programs and activities, including the Luscher School to Farm Internship, Children's Garden, community-supported agriculture (CSA), habitat restoration and fundraising for infrastructure development. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible;

YARD SALE — Support the Stevens-Crawford Heritage House by patronizing its annual yard sale fundraiser Aug. 9-10, coinciding with the McLoughlin Neighborhood Sale, which has more than 250 sellers. Sale runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The heritage house is located at 603 Sixth St., Oregon City.

NIGHT OUT — National Night Out provides an opportunity to network with neighbors and local first responders. Representatives from Wilsonville Police Department and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue visit local NNO gatherings to mingle and help make neighborhoods more caring and connected places to live. Consider hosting a National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 6. We will work with WPD and TVF&R to schedule visits between 5-9 p.m.
