A Day of Dead celebration brought in many in the community and from the metro area

Mexican dancing, a performance by a Mariachi band, face painting and delicous food were all part of the annual Día de Muertos program at Wilsonville High School on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

A Mexican holiday, Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebrates the lives of loved ones who have died. Family and friends gather to remember their loved ones in a day of celebration through music, food, dancing and prayer.
