HYPERTUFA — Learn to make hypertufa containers for your garden at a workshop hosted by the Clackamas Community College Horticulture Department. Attendees will learn how to make the container and what kind of plants and soil are best to use in it. $35. All workshops meet in Clairmont Hall on the Oregon City Campus.

THANKSGIVING MEAL — The Wilsonville United Methodist Church , 7355 S.W. Wilsonville Road, will host its annual free community Thanksgiving meal between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. All are welcome.

HISTORY PUB — The Wilsonville-Boones Ferry HIstorical Society and Wilsonville Library Foundation host the monthly event focused on local history. This month cowboy poet Tom Swearingen will present "Rhyme 'em cowboy!" at Wilsonville McMenamins Old Church. Doors open at 5 p.m., presentation begins at 6:30 p.m..

CONTEMPORARY COMEDY — Clackamas Community College's Theater Department presents "Becky's New Car," a comedy about a middle-age, middle-management woman in a middling marriage who stumbles onto a unique opportunity to change her life. "Becky's New Car" is at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays, through Nov. 24, at the Niemeyer Osterman Theatre on the Oregon City campus, 19600 Molalla Ave. There also will be a performance at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22. CLIMATE CRISIS — Action on Climate Crisis: Various speakers will present an evening of Action & Advocacy focusing on Clackamas County and the climate crisis Dec. 2. COMMUNITY — The Aurora, Butteville, Barlow Community Planning Organization (ABB-CPO) will meet to discuss current land-use issues that impact the unincorporated areas of these communities. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Wilsonville McMenamins, 30340 S.W. Boones Ferry Road, across the parking lot from Fred Meyer in the upstairs Boones Room. PORTLAND BALLET — Four Wilsonville dancers, Kyra Yannotta, Samantha Rodriguez, and sisters Melanie and Morganne Labs, are featured in the Portland Ballet's upcoming production of "Petrushka," a story of unrequited love set in an iconic hotel during the 1950s, Nov. 29-Dec. 1.

HOLIDAY SWAG — Wilsonville Garden Club's annual holiday swag sale will take place Dec. 7. Garlands, wreaths, centerpieces and other holiday decor will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the club's scholarship fund.
