Mazamas descending a glacier on the south side of Mount Hood, 1921. This image was captured by Oregon scenic photographer Fred Kiser, who also was an accomplished mountaineer. As a longtime member of Mazamas, a Portland climbing club, he participated in many of its events, and often brought along his cameras to record their activities. Here we see a sizable group making their way back down the mountain.
