Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Wilsonville Police Department detectives and deputies arrested Anthony James Lauritzen Jr. Friday, May 15, after the Tigard resident allegedly traveled to Wilsonville to engage in sexual contact with a minor.
Lauritzen Jr. received charges of sexual abuse in the third degree, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, luring a minor, carrying a concealed weapon and distribution of a controlled substance to a minor. He is being held in Clackamas County Jail.
The department heard reports of Lauritzen Jr.'s alleged illegal activity, which included engaging in sexual contact with an underage minor and providing drugs to the minor on multiple occasions.
Lauritzen Jr. communicated with an undercover deputy pretending to be a female minor and then, traveled to Wilsonville with the intent of having sex with whom he perceived to be the female minor. During the operation, sheriff's office personnel found that Lauritzen Jr. possessed an illegal concealed weapon.
The department said the investigation is ongoing and that there's reason to believe Lauritzen Jr. has additional victims.
