The city of Wilsonville announced Monday that Memorial Park has reopened after being closed for weeks while staff cleaned up extensive damage from the recent ice storm.

This means that all Wilsonville public parks that were closed during the storm have reopened.

The city focused efforts toward cleaning up smaller parks first to give citizens options to recreate before transitioning to Memorial Park. Murase Plaza, which is inside Memorial Park and was used as a chipping station to consolidate debris, reopened last week.

The city told residents on social media to "use caution and observe posted signs as clean-up continues."
