A ceremony featuring several speeches and other tributes was held at the Korean War memorial on Memorial Day.

The Korean War Veterans Association, the Korean War Memorial Foundation of Oregon and other organizations congregated to honor soldiers who died while serving their country during a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 31.

The event included speeches from Chuck Lusardi, the president of the KVWA, as well as Wilsonville Mayor Julie Fitzgerald and Consul General of the Republic of Korea Won-Jik Kwon, a wreath presentation ceremony and a reading of the names of those who have passed.
