The Wilsonville Police Department is looking for the culprit in a hit-and-run that occurred Sunday afternoon, Oct. 17, at a Wilsonville Road crosswalk next to the I-5 northbound off-ramp.

According to a department Facebook post, a pedestrian was sent to the hospital after being struck by a red sedan driven by a blond-haired man at 3:58 p.m. The pedestrian was in stable condition and Wilsonville Police Chief Rob Wurpes said their injuries were relatively minor.

The police indicated that the driver sped away eastbound on Wilsonville Road.
