Windermere Real Estate is collecting necessities for community members in need through Dec. 17 and its Charbonneau location is one of the drop-off points.

Local residents who want to contribute can drop off coats and blankets between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 31960 S.W. Charbonneau Drive, Suite 105. There also are drop-off sites in Portland, Lake Oswego and other areas. The items will go to Transition Projects, which provides assistance to Portland residents in need.

"Share the Warmth is a prime example of how Windermere Real Estate brokers and the community at large come together to ensure our neighbors have the warm clothing and other essentials they need throughout the winter," said Scott Mitchelson, president of Windermere Services Company in Oregon and SW Washington in a news release. "Every year, I'm amazed by the generosity of our neighbors and in awe of how our communities collaborate to take care of each other."
