Members of eight troops will pick up trees curbside or at the Regal Wilsonville parking lot

With the holiday season nearly in the rearview mirror, local residents may be looking for a place to drop off their Christmas trees. For those that do, local Cub Scout Pack 194 and other scout groups including Boy Scout Troops 194, 5194, 199, 528, 135, Cub Scout Pack 199 and Girl Scout Troop 42067 have you covered.

The troops are collecting Christmas trees at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 on curbsides throughout town or 9-11:30 a.m. at the Regal Wilsonville parking lot at 29300 SW Town Center Loop. The scouts will recycle the trees and are not accepting flocked trees or wreaths.

The event is a fundraiser for the troops, primarily for summer camps, and they are accepting donations for the service. Donations can be attached to your tree or front door or mailed to 29030 SW Town Center Loop East, Ste. 202 #194.
