Wilsonville government, Clackamas County hosting business summit
To build connections between the city of Wilsonville, businesses and colleges, the local government and Clackamas Community College are holding a Wilsonville Business Summit 7:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the CCC campus in Wilsonville.
According to a press release, the different entities will discuss ways to better partner with each other and the challenges to closer collaboration. It will include breakfast, networking and discussions.
"We want to know where businesses are struggling, whether it is a trained workforce or lack of childcare or challenges with transportation," CCC President Tim Cook said in a press release. "And then we want to explore how the college and the city can help overcome those challenges."
Wilsonville Mayor Julie Fitzgerald added: "Now is a great time to bring large and small businesses together for strategic thinking on the best ways to support and grow our local workforce and economy."
