Wilsonville residents celebrated Juneteenth in style on the morning of Saturday, June 18, with an event at Town Center Park that featured music, food, educational materials and dental health screenings.

About 300 people attended the event, according to Wilsonville Communications and Marketing Director Bill Evans. Dr. Mandrill Taylor, a psychiatrist who specializes in addiction and public health, delivered the keynote address, and attendees also heard remarks from Mayor Julie Fitzgerald, DEI Committee Chair Imran Haider and DEI Committee Vice Chair Jay Edwards.
