Wildcats scored 142.1 points Saturday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland

Wilsonville's competition cheerleading squad placed third in Class 5A on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland.

In their 2-minute, 30-second routine, the Wildcats earned 45.4 points for buidling skills, 53.7 for tumbling and jumps, and 43 for the overall routine, bringing their total state score to 142.1.

South Albany, the 5A champion, posted a 165.1. Second place Ridgeview recorded 153.2 points.

Seven teams competed in the 5A division.
