Stafford Primary raised more money for the Special Olympics Oregon Polar Plunge than any other elementary school

Stafford Primary's Polar Plunge team received received a surprise visit Friday, April 7, from Special Olympics Oregon following an impressive fundraising effort from members of the school. The team raised a total of more than $3,500, which was the highest total of any elementary school in Oregon and the 10th highest amount raised by any single team. Students and staff were given an award a school-wide assembly.
