Staff changes at Arts and Technology High School

Over the holiday break, Arts and Technology High School had a change in staff. According to ATHS Principal Saskia Dresler, Ben Whitcomb left ATHS at the end of December. Whitcomb served the school as the art teacher for five years, where he built a printmaking program from the ground up, contributed to the learning and practices with restorative justice, established ATHS as the vibrant home for the District Art Show and inspired countless students to learn and grow as artists through his teaching and support.

ATHS welcomed Jennifer Cerasin as the new art teacher; she will begin in January. Cerasin is moving to ATHS from Inza R. Wood Middle School in Wilsonville, where she has been the art teacher for many years. Cerasin started working in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District in 2002 as an art teacher at West Linn High School.
