Welcoming new staff

It's the time of year when scholarships start becoming available for the 2018-19 school year. This year, the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is offering two $3,000 scholarships. Scholarships are available to students studying agriculture, horticulture, a natural resource science or a related field. To be eligible, applicants must have graduated from a Clackamas County high school or reside in Clackamas County.

Applications are due at the district office, 221 Molalla Ave., Oregon City, by 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 6.

Registration for WHS SAT Prep Course open

Registration is now open for the spring SAT Prep Course. This course is taught by teachers Kirk Fowler and Kate Hanlon. The course takes place on Sunday evenings beginning March 4 and ending the week prior to the May administration of the SAT. No classes will be held during spring break. To register for the course, visit the College and Career Center webpage at and download the registration form and return it with payment to the WHS Bookkeeper. People can also visit the WHS Webstore at to pay by credit card.
