Young artist looks inward for inspiration
For Anja Reeber, a 2018 Wilsonville High School graduate, her acrylic and mixed media artwork explores the emotive and sensitive side of a person.
"Personal memories are weaved in through physical representations of feelings to explore introspection and observation of common human experiences," Reeber said in her artist statement.
Until the beginning of September, the community can view Reeber's senior portfolio on display inside of the Starbucks adjacent to the Fred Meyer in Wilsonville, at 30300 Boones Ferry Road.
The Starbucks gallery has allowed the fine arts program at WHS to select rotating artwork for display. The rotating exhibit features work by students, graduates or faculty who have a connection to WHS.
