CCC offers spring break camps
2019 Money Smart scholarship
Country Financial and Financial Beginnings Oregon are now accepting entries from Portland area high schoolers in the Money Smart essay contest for the chance to win a $3,000 scholarship. Applicants must write a 300-word essay on income volatility. First place earns a $3,000 scholarship and two runners up will receive $1,000 scholarships. Deadline for entries is March 22. The application can be found at http://www.countryfinancial.com/moneysmartweek.
Local student to compete in Spelling Bee
Boones Ferry Primary School fifth-grader Annika Martin will compete in Pamplin Media Group's Regional Spelling Bee March 9 at Hollywood Theater. Forty-three Portland area students are participating in Saturday's bee.
