The Oregon Institute of Technology announced Thursday night that an employee at its Wilsonville campus tested positive for COVID-19, according to the institute's website.

Oregon Tech said the employee is quarantined at home and hadn't been on campus since March 13. It also said this was the first reported case at the Wilsonville campus and there are no reported cases at the Klamath Falls campus.

Clackamas County officials are leading the standard case investigation process.

"We remain committed to the well-being and safety of the Oregon Tech community, and encourage each of you to continue doing your part to reduce the likelihood of further transmission of this virus. We will continue to communicate as new or updated information is available," the institute wrote on its website.
