City of Wilsonville taking precautions to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the city of Wilsonville Parks and Recreation department is continuing to offer summer camps and recently opened registration to the public.

Some changes this year include limiting camp capacity to 10 kids, reducing the number of camps offered, encouraging social distancing and sanitizing equipment. Kids are also asked to bring hand sanitizer and parks and rec staff will check for signs of COVID-19. Anyone with symptoms like coughing or a fever will be asked to stay home. However, staff and campers will not be required to wear masks for the most part.

Some available activities include Skyhawks sports camps focusing on basketball, cheerleading, lacrosse, tennis and other sports, Soccer Shots camps, wilderness survival, Kitchen Science, Lego Engineering, Mad Science and others.
